Montero Aramburu advises on the acquisition of Apexfarma

Montero Aramburu has advised the PIEX Group in the acquisition of the Spanish entity Apexfarma, a company specialized in the development and promotion of pharmaceutical products in both Africa and Northern Asia.

With this acquisition, the French group advances its expansion strategy in the African continent, offering its partners in the healthcare sector the prospect of exponential growth in these markets. The transaction also includes the acquisition of Cross Pharm, a subsidiary of the Apexfarma Group. Montero|Aramburu has provided legal advice to PIEX Group in Spanish law throughout the financing and acquisition process of Apexfarma, as well as in coordinating the acquisition of Cross Pharm.

The Montero Aramburu team included Miguel Cuesta Boothman, partner in the corporate department, Víctor Moya Ximénez, senior associate in the corporate department, Gadea Pérez de Guzmán, senior associate in the financial department, and Patricia Galán González, director of the tax department.
