Monereo Meyer welcomes Ana Parés López as litigation partner

The law firm Monereo Meyer Abogados has hired lawyer Ana Parés López de Lemos, who previously worked at law firms such as Pérez-Llorca and Ecija, as a new partner in the Litigation department

According to Michael Fries, partner in charge of the Litigation Department, the addition of Ana Parés López de Lemos to the firm “is a strategic decision that responds to our goal of strengthening our legal advice in the areas of arbitration and litigation. Parés has more than 15 years of experience in litigation and arbitration. She has worked on matters related to conflicts of law, unfair competition, corporate disputes, franchises, distribution, and damage claims linked to competition law infringements. She has also participated in international arbitration and proceedings related to cartels in various fields.

Throughout her career, she has advised and defended multinational companies and family groups in litigation, both in national law firms and in Spanish-German law firms. She has a law degree from the Complutense University of Madrid and a doctorate in law, as well as various postgraduate studies. She is a member of the Madrid Bar Association (ICAM).

In the academic field, she has been an associate professor at the Complutense University and a collaborator in postgraduate programs at the Rey Juan Carlos University and the Nebrija University. She has published articles in legal journals and collective works.

The firm is made up of around 60 people, 35 of whom are lawyers or tax specialists registered in different jurisdictions. The firm has offices in Madrid, Barcelona, Palma, Tenerife, and Lisbon, and provides services to clients with international activities, especially in German-speaking and English-speaking environments.
