MLGTS acts for Sonae Sierra on sale of shopping centres to Ocidental

MLGTS advised retail real estate company Sonae Sierra on the sale of two shopping centres based in the Portuguese cities of Maia and Guimarães – to Ocidental.

 

Ocidental will have a majority stake in the assets, though Sonae Sierra will be responsible for managing the two shopping centres.

MaiaShopping has more than 90 stores covering an area of 28,252 square metres, while GuimarãeShopping includes 100 stores in an area of 28,819 square metres.

The MLGTS team was led by partner Bernardo Lobo Xavier and senior lawyer Gonçalo Fleming.

Ocidental was advised by Linklaters.
