MLAB promotes Alfonso Rincón to partner

MLAB law firm, which specialises in Competition, EU and Regulatory Law, has promoted Alfonso Rincón García Loygorri, until now senior associate at the firm, to partner

Rincón (pictured) has experience in advising companies, both national and regional, before the European Commission and the Spanish Competition authorities.

His practice includes cases relating to agreements restrictive of Competition, conduct of abuse of dominant position and State aid in a wide range of economic sectors, such as commercial distribution, copyright management, sport or the collaborative economy.

The new MLAB partner is EU Competition Law and Policy professor at the CEU San Pablo University in Madrid, where he obtained his PhD and his degree in Law. He also holds a Master´s degree in EU Law from the College of Europe in Natolin (Warsaw, Poland).

In addition to this, Rincón is the author of a book and several publications on Competition Law application to sports.
