Miranda & Amado instructed on issuance by BBVA Banco Continental in Peru

Peruvian law firm Miranda & Amado Abogados acted as deal counsel for the issuance of PEN 205 million ($60 million) leasing bonds by BBVA Banco Continental though a public offering. 

The issuance is part of the bank’s second program of Leasing Bonds registered with the Peruvian capital markets agency. BBVA Banco Continental acted as arranger and Continental Bolsa SAB as placement agent.

The proceeds of the offering will be used to finance BBVA Banco Continental’s leasing operations. The offering received a total demand of more than $284 million and the interest rate set for the bonds was 5.46875% (fixed).
