Miquel Roca receives the “Masters of Law” Award

The Barcelona Bar Association (Ilustre Colegio de la Abogacía de Barcelona – ICAB) has awarded the “Masters of Law” prize to Miquel Roca (pictured), founding partner and honorary president of RocaJunyent, in recognition of his professional career and his “contribution to strengthening the rule of law and enhancing the prestige of the legal profession”.

This award, created by the ICAB Governing Board in 2023, recognises jurists whose dedication and commitment make them a true benchmark for the profession,states ICAB. The ceremony took place at the Barcelona Bar Association, at an event presided over by ICAB dean Cristina Vallejo, with the laudatio delivered by Francesc Tusquets, president of the Catalan Academy of Jurisprudence and Legislation.

Alongside Miquel Roca, Jesús M. Sánchez García, dean emeritus of the ICAB, was also honoured for his work at the helm of the Bar Association and his role in driving the modernisation of the legal profession.
