Miguel Ángel Serrano joins EJASO as Litigation and Arbitration of counsel

EJASO continues to strengthen its growth and commitment to excellence with the incorporation of Miguel Ángel Serrano as of counsel in its Litigation and Arbitration department. With over 34 years of experience in the legal profession and an outstanding career in both national and international arbitration, Serrano will bring extensive knowledge and strategic value to the firm.

Serrano has been an arbitrator for the European Commission in investment arbitration since 2022 and has served as Vice President of the Arbitration Council of the Community of Madrid since 2019. He is also a member of the Advisory Council of the Arbitration Section of the Madrid Bar Association (ICAM) and a professor at the Complutense University of Madrid.

Throughout his career, he has been a partner at top-tier law firms such as Garrigues, Cremades & Calvo-Sotelo, and Crowe Horwath Legal y Tributario. He has also worked as a lawyer and arbitrator in prestigious national and international institutions, including the Madrid Court of Arbitration, the Spanish Court of Arbitration, the ICAM Court of Arbitration, the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), and the Madrid International Arbitration Center (CIAM). His expertise spans key sectors such as energy, construction, ESG, banking, distribution, and franchising, among others.
