Michavila Acebes hires Rocío Guerrero to lead labour
Michavila Acebes Abogados has strengthened its employment practice with the appointment of Rocío Guerrero Jareño as director of the firm’s Labour Law area. The move comes as part of the firm’s growth strategy and its focus on consolidating a specialised practice in corporate legal advisory services, states Michavila.
Rocío Guerrero brings experience in comprehensive labour law advisory for companies, covering both day-to-day operations and high-complexity matters. Prior to joining Michavila Acebes Abogados, she served as manager of the labour department at Ceca Magán Abogados.
Throughout her career, she has focused on strategic labour law advisory, leading high-complexity litigation before the social jurisdiction, and designing and implementing labour compliance projects. Her experience also includes legal support in corporate reorganisation and restructuring processes, as well as specialised advisory on internal investigations into potential labour violations, particularly in harassment cases, and matters related to equality and diversity.
Alongside her professional practice, Guerrero also teaches at Grupo CEF.-UDIMA, where she contributes to the training of legal and human resources professionals.
