Cuatrecasas advises Meliá Hotels on the registration of a Euro Commercial Paper program on Euronext Dublin for €300m

Cuatrecasas has advised Meliá Hotels International (Meliá) on the incorporation of a Euro Commercial Paper (ECP) program on Euronext Dublin, for a maximum outstanding balance of 300 million euros. The securities incorporation document was registered on June 4, 2024.

Under the ECP program, Meliá will be able to issue promissory notes that will enable it to diversify its sources of financing, address future market opportunities and continue to advance in its expansion plan.

The Cuatrecasas team in charge of advising the multinational in this process was led by Ana Ma Gamazo Martín, a partner in the financial corporate group, with the support of lawyers Laura Martí Giménez and Iván Vargas Irles.
