Mazars Strengthens Financial Sector Expertise with Luis Porras

Mazars, the integrated international firm, has recently welcomed Luis Porras (pictured right), former Director of Legal Advice for Commercial Banking at Banco Santander, to its team. Luis Porras joins Mazars as Of Counsel to enhance the firm’s positioning and development of new services in the Financial sector.

With over 30 years of experience in the financial sector and a broad understanding of legal and commercial banking, Luis has primarily shaped his career at Banco Santander as the Director of Legal Advice for Commercial Banking. He joined the institution in 2016 from Openbank, where he served as the Director of Legal Advice since its establishment in 1996. Luis has also worked with AB Asesores and Banco Herrero. He holds a Law degree from the Autonomous University of Madrid.
