Martínez-Echevarría strengthens Tax Practice with Delaw Firm integration

Martínez-Echevarría has integrated boutique tax law firm Delaw Firm. The deal includes the incorporation of the firm’s founding partners, Irene Díaz Meneses and Carlos Fernández Córdoba, who join as partners in Martínez-Echevarría’s tax and fiscal law practice.

According to the firm, the integration aims to consolidate and expand its service offering by adding a team of 10 professionals with more than 20 years of expertise. Vicente Morató, managing partner of Martínez-Echevarría, explained: “This will strengthen our ability to provide comprehensive tax solutions to both companies and high-net-worth individuals, significantly reinforcing our fiscal and tax advisory capabilities.”

Irene Díaz Meneses, who brings over 30 years of experience, specializes in advising business groups, family-owned companies, and high-net-worth individuals. Her expertise spans corporate restructuring processes such as mergers and spin-offs, succession planning, tax litigation, and international taxation for inbound and outbound executives.

Carlos Fernández Córdoba, also with a 30-year career, is an economist and tax advisor with a strong track record in complex tax operations. He has advised both domestic and international clients on wealth reorganizations and tax due diligence processes. His comprehensive approach combines tax, financial, and legal perspectives, covering everything from international investment planning to defense in tax proceedings.
