Martínez-Echevarría has incorporated Nicolás Martínez de las Rivas and Juan Luis Hernández-Gil as partners, as lawyers specialized in litigation. Both, members of the Spanish Court of Arbitration, will be part of the area of general litigation and litigation specialized in industrial and intellectual property.
Nicolás Martínez de las Rivas
With more than 15 years of experience, Martínez de las Rivas holds a law degree from the Complutense University of Madrid, a master’s degree in legal advice to companies, a master’s degree in industrial property and is currently studying for a doctorate. He is also a professor of Procedural Law at the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos and a professor of commercial litigation at ISDE and Pons Escuela de Negocios.
During these years he has worked in different national and international law firms such as Cremades & Calvo-Sotelo, Maio Legal and Baylos Abogados, defending relevant matters in the civil and criminal economic order.
Juan Luis Hernández-Gil
Hernández-Gil, with more than 10 years of experience, has a degree in Law from the Complutense University and prepared for the competitive examinations to the judicial career for four years.
He has previously worked at Cremades & Calvo-Sotelo and Zurbano+Caracas Abogados, and has extensive experience in civil and criminal litigation and family law. Among others, Juan Luis has been directly involved in the defense of media cases before the Audiencia Nacional.
