Martínez-Echevarría advises Ucademy on its €3.5m funding round

Ucademy, a company specialised in preparing students for university entrance exams, competitive examinations and professional training, has closed a funding round totaling €3.5 million. The operation will enable the company to accelerate its growth by developing new verticals, improving its technological platform, and integrating artificial intelligence-based solutions to personalize learning.

The investment involved the participation of Inveready and BS Capital, the investment arm of Banco Sabadell. With this new financial boost, Ucademy plans to strengthen its presence in Europe and Latin America, as well as consolidate its main lines of business.

The law firm Martínez-Echevarría Abogados provided legal advice on the transaction, with the participation of lawyers Óscar Murillo and Carlos Herrera from the mergers and acquisitions (M&A) team at its Madrid office.
