Martínez-Echevarría adds Andrés Campaña as Energy Partner
Martínez-Echevarría has appointed Andrés Campaña Ávila as partner in its administrative and energy law practice, strengthening its capabilities in a sector facing growing regulatory complexity and rapid energy transition.
Campaña has extensive experience in the electricity and hydrocarbons industries, advising on the full energy value chain from project development and acquisitions to energy trading. His practice spans regulatory and transactional work, administrative and judicial proceedings, and sector-specific contracting for both domestic and international clients.
A law graduate from Complutense University, Campaña began his career at Cuatrecasas before spending 16 years in senior legal roles at Iberdrola. For the past four years, he was a partner in the public law and energy practice at Broseta.
He is also active in academia, having taught at the Master’s in Energy Law at the Spanish Energy Club and on the legal practice master’s program at CEU, among others.
