Mariscal advises on the acquisition of two sister bussinesses by Parweld
Mariscal, jointly with Cattaneo UK, has advised Parweld on the acquisition of a two companies business based in Valencia, by means of a share deal and several ancillary agreements.
The acquired companies based in Valencia (Spain), consists of two business units, Reinsol Soldaduras y Mantenimiento, a distributor that specializes in the multi-brand distribution of welding products to companies in and around the Valencia region and Parweld Torch Technology who have been a long-term wholesaler for Parweld products throughout Spain. With these acquisitions, the turnover of the Parweld group exceeds 20 million euros.
With this agreement, Parweld is committed to lead the business of design and manufacturing of welding products in the Spanish market and to offer services to both private and public entities.
As stated by Parweld’s Board of Directors, “with this acquisition Parweld intends to strengthen its distribution network and expand the range of products and services available to our customers in the region”.
Since 1972, Parweld (based in the UK) has been a world brand of arc and gas welding torches, welding machines, consumables and personal protective equipment. It offers products and services to a worldwide customer base of wholesalers and distributors from its headquarters and distribution centre in Bewdley, Worcestershire, and its manufacturing facility in Jiangsu, China. It sells through a network of distributors in the UK and Europe, as well as in Africa, Asia-Pacific and North America.
