Marimón advises on the sale of a minority stake of Grupo Alcoaxarquía
Marimón Abogados has advised Alcoaxarquia Organic Avocado Specialist on the sale of a minority stake to Tresmares Capital.
Alcoaxarquia Group, national leader in the commercialization of avocado and other fruits of organic origin, has given entry to Tresmares, an investment platform also leader in Spain that has the support of Banco Santander.
José Antonio Alconchel, founder and CEO of the company, has focused his efforts over the years on making the Group a benchmark in the tropical fruit sector. To this end, he has established customer orientation as a premise, offering ready-to-eat quality fruit all 12 months of the year.
In order to be able to supply fruit all 12 months of the year, Alcoaxarquia Group is present in different countries around the world, such as Spain, Morocco, Kenya, Peru, Mexico and Dominican Republic, among others.
The commercial and tax law teams were led by partners Begoña Redón and Santiago Díez. Álvaro Gaviño, senior associate and Javier Merlos, associate of the corporate department, have also participated in the transaction.
