Maria Beatrice Magotti, new head of M&A Iberia & MEDI at AIG

AIG has appointed Maria Beatrice Magotti as its new head of M&A Iberia and for Italy, Cyprus, Greece and Malta (Medi).

Maria Beatrice Magotti promotes from the position of AIG Europe M&A Director for Italy, Cyprus, Greece and Malta (Medi). Previously, she was a senior M&A underwriter in the Italian office.

Magotti has also worked for 11 years at leading international and Italian firms assisting mainly private equity funds in m&a transactions. The lawyer worked from 2008 to 2016 at the Italian office of Latham & Watkins and from 2016 to date at LMS Studio Legale; she also worked at Coca-Cola HBC Italia, where she held the position of in-house senior legal counsel.

The new director will focus on the development of the Italian and European market for W&I insurance policies.
