Manuel Campanero new Pons IP director in Andalusia

Pons IP, a global consultancy specializing in industrial and intellectual property, has announced the appointment of Manuel Campanero Carrasco as the new regional director for Andalusia. With this strategic hire, Pons IP aims to strengthen its presence in the region and expand its operations, capitalizing on Andalusia’s growing influence in innovation and intellectual property.

Andalusia is currently among the top three regions in Spain for patent and trademark applications, reflecting its leadership in R&D within the country. Manuel Campanero, with over 14 years of professional experience, brings a wealth of knowledge to the role. As a founding partner of Gestión de Intangibles, he helped the firm become the top performer in trademark applications in Córdoba. He is also a member of the prestigious Colegio de Economistas de Córdoba.

Campanero holds a degree in business administration from ETEA, now Loyola University, and has furthered his expertise in intangible assets through courses at the Escuela de Organización Industrial (EOI) and the COAPI, as well as in business valuation at the University of Seville.

Rocío Peris, Pons IP’s Director of Business Development, expressed enthusiasm about Campanero’s addition to the team, citing the extensive size and population of Andalusia as key factors in the decision. She highlighted that his appointment will enhance the firm’s ability to expand its client base and consolidate relationships with existing customers in this rapidly growing region.
