Manolo Bakes enters VGO Capital fund: advisors

KPMG, EY, Pérez-Llorca and GA_P advises on the entry of VGO Capital, a private equity fund based in London, in Manolo Bakes.

The transaction, which was closed at the end of last week, includes a share sale and purchase and a capital increase, valuing the company at close to 60 million euros.

The operation, whose valuation is estimated at around 60 million euros, means the exit of the Manzano family from the company’s shareholding, so that Manolo Bakes thus becomes the owner of the original Manolitos brand.

KPMG has advised VGO Capital in a financial and tax due diligence with a team led by Pilar García Molinero, partner of KPMG Abogados.

EY has advised VGO Capital, on the tax aspects, with a team formed by partner was Araceli Sáenz de Navarrete and the senior manager was Julio Alguacil.
