MA Abogados promotes Labour head to partner
MA Abogados has promoted José María Fernández Mota, head of the firm´s Labour area, to partner
José María Fernández Mota (pictured) is a Law and Business Administration graduate from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. He has more than 10 years of professional experience as a lawyer. Between 2004 and 2014 he practiced as a lawyer in the Employment and Social Security area for the law firm Ussía & Navasqüés Abogados. From 2014 to 2017, he held the position of manager of the Madrid Employment Area of Rousaud Costas Duran (RCD). In April 2017 he joined MA Abogados Madrid, as head of the Labour Law department.
He combines the Law practice with teaching and training professionals, by giving specialisation courses and conferences in Labour Law. He also has extensive experience in Collective Bargaining (Negotiation of Collective Agreements and Employment Regulatory Records).
MA Abogados was born in November 2011 as a result of the integration of several law firms, under the leadership of José María Michavila and Ángel Acebes. The project has grown by accompanying its clients, to have eight sites located in Madrid, Seville, Valencia, Palma de Mallorca, Bilbao, Salamanca, Vigo and Marbella.
