Lupicinio announces death of co-founder Barriola
Lupicinio International Law Firm has announced that the firm’s co-founder León Barriola has died of cancer at the age of 60.
Barriola, who was the partner who headed the firm’s tax and dispute resolution departments, was part of the team that launched Lupicinio in 1983.
He obtained a bachelor´s degree from the School of Industrial Engineering at the University of Navarra and obtained his law degree from Complutense University in Madrid.
The firm’s managing partner Lupicinio Rodriguez said: “Leon was co-founder of this firm and my partner for 36 years. He had an immense intellect and was one of Spain’s greatest lawyers. Honest, austere, indefatigable, and tenacious, he leaves us a great legacy of values including effort, integrity and excellence.”
