Linklaters signs Begoña Martínez as new partner

Linklaters has signed Begoña Martínez (pictured) as a new partner effective 1 May.

Martínez has been involved in a wide range of domestic and cross-border financing transactions, including acquisition, corporate, real estate, project and structured financings, as well as refinancing and restructuring transactions, among others.

The new partner also has experience advising clients on capital markets, securitisations, private equity and M&A transactions.

In addition, from 1 May Linklaters will promote two new counsels, Ceyhun Pehlivan and Luis Valdenebro. Globally, Linklaters has also appointed 41 new partners and 53 new counsels. Forty per cent of the new partners are women, exceeding the firm’s annual target.
