Linklaters recruits RE lawyer from Allen & Overy

Linklaters has reinforced its Real Estate area, which is led by partner Adolfo Guerrero, with the hiring of Laura Gómez Barea who joins from Allen & Overy

Laura (pictured) studied the bilingual degree of Law and Business at CEU San Pablo University and a Master in Law at ICADE Universidad Pontificia Comillas. in October 2020, she studied a Master’s in Planning at CEU IAM Business School. Laura has worked at Allen & Overy Madrid for the last five years.

She has extensive experience in advising companies on Real Estate, Planning, and Financing transactions. Her expertise encompasses Due Diligence reports, sale and purchase deals, leases (including sale and leaseback transactions), development and construction relating to different real estate assets (student accommodation, hotels, shopping centres, office buildings, logistic sites, among others), as well as financial guarantees. Laura also has experience advising on the acquisition of NPLs and REOs portfolios.

Clients advised by Laura include major international companies, investment banks and financial institutions. She has advised on many of the most outstanding deals in the real estate area in recent years.
