Linklaters Portugal strengthens Dispute Resolution area
Linklaters has strengthened its Dispute Resolution department by hiring Paulo Abreu dos Santos from PLMJ and Belarmino Costa da Silva from CMS
Linklaters Portugal has recruited two new lawyers to consolidate its Dispute Resolution practice. Paulo Abreu dos Santos (pictured right), joins as managing associate from PLMJ. He has developed his activity in the areas of Corporate, Civil and Commercial Litigation and in Insolvency and Company Restructuring. The lawyer advises national and international companies from various sectors, including listed companies, Telecommunications, Banking, Insurance, Investment Funds and the Pharmaceutical industry. Paulo holds a degree in Law from the University of Lisbon, a Master’s Degree in Legal Sciences, and has been, since 2016, a visiting professor at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon.
Belarmino Costa da Silva (pictured left), joins Linklaters as an associate from CMS and has developed his activity with a greater focus on Dispute Resolution, particularly in the areas of Arbitration, Civil Litigation and Criminal Litigation. Belarmino holds a degree in Law from the University of Lisbon and has completed two Advanced Post-Graduations in Arbitration Law and in Insolvency and Corporate Recovery Law.
