Linklaters, Hogan Lovells and Uría Menéndez on AltamarCAM sale to Mercer

Linklaters has advised Permira on the sale of AltamarCAM Partners to Mercer, a subsidiary of US-listed insurance group Marsh & McLennan Companies.

The transaction will see Mercer acquire AltamarCAM, a private markets asset manager with approximately €20bn in assets under management, integrating the business into its global private markets platform.

The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals and is expected to close in the second half of 2026. The combined business is expected to operate under the Marsh brand from next year.

Hogan Lovells has advised Marsh on the acquisition.

Uría Menéndez has advised AltamarCAM on the transaction.
