Uría Menéndez and Linklaters advise on Abanca-Crédit Agricole alliance
Uría Menéndez and Linklaters advised Abanca and Crédit Agricole Assurances on the creation of an insurance sector joint venture that will operate in Spain and Portugal.
The insurance company and bank have created a 50-50 joint venture that will target companies with turnover of less than €2 million.
Abanca was advised by a Uría Menéndez team that included partner Guillermo San Pedro (pictured, top) and associate Jaime del Fraile.
Linklaters advised Crédit Agricole Assurances – the team included partners Victor Manchado (pictured, bottom) and Paloma Fierro (pictured, middle).
