Linklaters advises Grupo Abertis on its first environmental bonds
Linklaters has advises Grupo Abertis on its first bond issue linkes to environmental objetives.
The team of the firm was led the firm’s team consisted of Federico Briano (pictured left) and Yiannis Kyriakides (pictured right). Briano is a partner of the international securities practice group and Kyriakides is managing associate of the capital markets. Iñigo Berrícano (partner) and Héctor Garrido (managing associate) also colaborated in this operation.
The Grupo Abertis has finalised the issue of a 600 million euro bond linked to environmental objectives to refinance part of the company’s liabilities. This is a pioneering investment, as it is one of the first companies in the sector to carry out this type of financial operation aimed at complying with its sustainability strategies.
