Legálitas offers free Legal Assistance for DANA storm victims

Legálitas has set up a free legal helpline, 91 558 99 96, for those affected by the recent DANA storm, extending support to victims, their families, and friends who have been impacted. A dedicated team of lawyers from various departments will provide guidance on a range of issues, including insurance, housing, employment, and business-related matters.

For insurance questions, citizens can receive advice on which damages are covered under their policies, steps to request compensation from the Consorcio de Compensación de Seguros, and rights of renters affected by the storm.

Employment support is also available, helping individuals understand if they are required to attend work, remote work permissions, available aid, and their labor rights during this period. Business owners impacted by the storm can seek advice on filing an ERTE for force majeure, temporarily suspending labor relations, and managing reduced working hours. Self-employed individuals can inquire about potential cessation benefits and access to aid.

Legálitas launched this initiative to support vulnerable communities and provide essential resources to help mitigate the severe damage caused by the storm.
