Laura Cadenas, new partner at Ceca Magán
Ceca Magán Abogados has appointed Laura Cadenas, formerly of Watson Farley & Williams, as a new partner in its banking and finance practice.

Cadenas comes from Watson Farley & Williams, where she was a partner in the assets and structured finance department in Madrid. She joined the firm in 2009 and has worked in the firm’s Madrid and London offices since then. Previously, she also worked at firms such as Hogan Lovells and Uría Menéndez.
Laura has almost 20 years of experience advising on transport-related financing transactions, particularly in the aviation and maritime sectors. She has extensive experience in aircraft financing for helicopters, commercial aircraft and executive jets, as well as in tax leasing transactions for ships, shipbuilding contracts, ECA-guaranteed financing and other asset financing transactions for railways and rolling stock. The new partner also has extensive knowledge of mergers and acquisitions, commercial and corporate law.
Cadenas holds a degree in Law and Business Administration from the Autonomous University of Madrid.
