Latham & Watkins appoints Guillermo Ruiz de Salazar as counsel

Latham & Watkins has appointed Guillermo Ruiz de Salazar (pictured), until now an associate in the firm’s Madrid labour practice, to counsel. The appointment will be effective in 1 January 2023.

Ruiz de Salazar holds a law degree from the Universidad Complutense in 2006 and a master’s degree from Centro de Estudios Garrigues in 2011. The new counsel advises national and international companies on all types of employment matters, especially collective dismissals, restructuring, hiring and termination of directors, planning and execution of business transfers and preparation of incentive plans.
