KWM advises Portobello on the acquisition of USA Group

King & Wood Mallesons advised Portobello Capital on the acquisition of Ugarteburu Sociedad Anónima (USA Group)

Based in Mallabia, USA Group designs manufactures and markets small precision metal parts related to security and control systems, mostly sensors for various vehicle applications. Following the acquisition, Portobello Capital will hold a majority stake in the company, which has been owned up to now by three families.

The USA Group has an annual turnover of approximately 40 million euros.

The team from KWM was led by partner Pablo Díaz (pictured) and included Gonzalo Fernández, Victoria Ruenes, Javier Reyna, Rosa Chen
