KWM advises on the launch of Tressis second private equity fund
King & Wood Mallesons has advised Tressis, an independent securities firm specializing in wealth management and financial planning, on the launch of its second private equity fund: Plan Capital Privado Global FCR. The new investment vehicle, a joint project between Tressis and Cedrus & Partners, a leading financial advisory firm in France, has a target size of €40 million.
Plan Capital Privado Global FCR will focus on megatrends, taking advantage of the best opportunities in real assets and private markets. By sustainability classification, the fund falls under Article 8.
It is a fund of funds that will invest 30% in infrastructure and energy transition funds, with exposure to the infrastructure, Net Zero transition, digitalization of the economy, aging population and healthcare transformation sectors. The remaining 70% is planned for investment in private equity funds, the latter distributed in three verticals: secondary market, regional and sector private equity and private equity focused on the mid-cap segment in the United States.
The KWM team of lawyers in charge of leading this project is led by partner and head of the investment funds department Isabel Rodríguez, with the collaboration of associates Enrique Torné and Lara Taylor.
