Kreston Iberaudit co-launches Global Legal Group
Kreston Iberaudit is stepping up its international ambitions by co-leading the newly created Global Legal Group within Kreston Global, designed to streamline cross-border legal work and strengthen collaboration across jurisdictions. The new group will work closely with Kreston Global’s Global Tax Group, led by Mark Taylor, global head of tax, to provide solutions for cross-border projects.
Kreston Iberaudit will assume the co-chairmanship of the Global Legal Group through Pedro Pizá Nerín (pictured), partner in the legal practice at Kreston Iberaudit, in Madrid, alongside Klaas Stoke-Borchert, partner at Delfs & Partner (Germany). This structure will make it possible to connect legal capabilities at a global level and to work in alignment with other strategic areas such as tax, advisory, M&A and audit.
In its initial phase, the GLG will focus on mapping legal expertise across the network, with the aim of identifying specialisations, strengthening legal services, facilitating collaboration between member firms and responding swiftly to the needs of clients with international operations or interests within Kreston Global.
“This project represents a natural step in our evolution. It allows us to enhance the value of the legal practice within the network, reinforce it and structure it in order to offer closer, more coordinated and professional support, tailored to the international challenges and needs of our clients,” says Pedro Pizá Nerín.
For her part, Elena Ramírez, managing partner of Kreston Iberaudit’s International Office and member of the Kreston Global board, describes this development as “a decisive step in strengthening the network’s capabilities in international environments, where coordination across jurisdictions and disciplines is key to supporting clients in their global growth.”
