KPMG boosts Labour with Marta Salamanca and Yanira Miguel

KPMG Abogados, under the leadership of Alberto Estrelles, has bolstered its Labor Law division by welcoming two new senior managers to its offices in Madrid and Barcelona. Marta Salamanca (second from left), formerly an associate at Pérez-Llorca, and Yanira Miguel (second from right), previously a senior lawyer at Uría Menéndez, join the team, bringing the total number of professionals in this department to 42. The division is led by Javier Hervás (pictured right) and Francisco Fernández (pictured left).

Marta Salamanca holds a Law degree from Universidad San Pablo CEU in Madrid and boasts over a decade of experience in Labor and Social Security Law. She has advised national and international companies on restructuring plans, collective measures, and client defense in court and before the Labor Inspectorate. Her industry experience spans sectors such as metallurgy, finance, technology, aviation, education, and transport. Salamanca also holds dual Master’s degrees in Business Law and Legal Practice from the University of Navarra and a Postgraduate degree in Strategic Management of Labor Relations from IE Business School.

Yanira Miguel, a Law graduate from Universidad Pompeu Fabra, brings over seven years of experience from Uría Menéndez. She specializes in advising and representing companies on a wide range of labor issues, particularly those arising in acquisitions, mergers, and corporate restructuring. Miguel will contribute her expertise to KPMG’s Barcelona office.
