KPMG Abogados advises on the sale of the majority stake of New Insurance Broker Web to Ascentiel Groupe
KPMG Abogados has accompanied the partners of NIBW, a Spanish insurance broker specialized in temporary insurance, throughout the process of the sale of its majority stake.
The buyer, Ascentiel Groupe, is a French insurance brokerage firm specialized in the acquisition, distribution and management of Non-Life insurance contracts for individuals and professionals. This transaction marks a significant milestone for the Spanish insurance market.
The firm team has advised on the commercial and tax aspects of the transaction, which has been led by Francisco Vázquez Oteo, partner of the commercial area of KPMG Abogados, who has been supported by Iveta Mostýnová, senior manager of the same department. Guillermo Rodríguez Fernández, partner, and Ismael Barredo Moreno, senior manager, participated from the tax area.
