Kennedys moves to larger space in the heart of Madrid

Kennedys, a global law firm with expertise in dispute resolution and advisory services has announced the relocation of its Spanish office to a new, larger space, now located in the heart of Madrid at Serrano 55.

This relocation is driven by the need to facilitate the firm’s growing Spanish offering, having welcomed partners Ignacio Figuerol, Ricardo Garrido, Susana Martínez, Jesús Iglesias and their respective teams last year. The move also underscores the firm’s commitment to strengthening its presence in Spain whilst supporting continued expansion across Europe.

The firm has explained that Kennedys’ Spanish practice has experienced exceptional demand across the insurance market, both locally and internationally, driven by clients seeking trusted legal counsel. The new office will accommodate Madrid’s rapidly growing team, enabling their lawyers to better serve the firm’s expanding client base.

Commenting on the move, Andrew McGahey, Kennedys managing partner for EMEA, said: “Our growth in Spain reflects the trust our clients place in us and the outstanding work of our team. The move into a larger space is a natural next step in our journey. It positions us to be able to attract more local legal talent and continue delivering a world-class service to clients across Spain and other jurisdictions”.

The relocation aligns with Kennedys’ broader global growth strategy and follows the launch of offices in Los Angeles and Seattle last year. This year, the firm reported record revenue of €511m for financial year 2024/25, with EMEA achieving 13.6% growth.
