José Vicente Morote re-elected as member of Andersen’s Global Board

During Andersen‘s annual global meeting held in Las Vegas last week, José Vicente Morote, managing partner of Andersen Iberia, was re-elected as a member of Andersen’s Global Board following a unanimous proposal by the European Management Committee. Vicente Morote has been a member of the Global Board since 2019, adding to his role as European Legal Coordinator since 2018.

On the occasion of his re-election as a member of the Global Board, José Vicente Morote said, “I am thrilled and deeply gratified, especially by the trust placed in me by both the firm worldwide and the European Management Committee.”

Global Board

The Global Board, the firm’s highest governing body worldwide, is made up of 12 members and its main responsibility is to define Andersen’s strategic lines of development and management in the field of legal and tax services.

His appointment meets one of the main requirements for membership of this body: “full alignment with Andersen’s global strategy and consistency between his work at the helm of Andersen Iberia and the firm’s international objectives”. In this regard, José Vicente Morote stressed that “this re-election reflects the commitment of Andersen Iberia, and my own personal commitment, to the firm’s global project. We share the same vision, the same values and the same purpose: to continue driving Andersen’s development around the world.”

Regarding the strategy to be followed as a member of the Global Board, José Vicente Morote pointed out that “we will continue to promote the integration and expansion of our areas and teams in the more than 600 locations where Andersen is present, reinforcing the quality, specialisation and excellence that characterise our firm.”’”

Andersen Iberia

In 2024, Andersen Iberia achieved a turnover of €70.5 million, representing an increase of 40.1% over the previous year, as a result of its strategy. Looking ahead to 2025, Andersen Iberia expects to reach €84 million, which would represent a 20% growth over the previous year.
