José María Goerlich strengthens Labour area for Cuatrecasas
Cuatrecasas has reinforced its position in the Labour area with the incorporation of José María Goerlich at its Valencia office. Goerlich has an extensive professional background, having worked for more than thirty years as an expert in labour matters in top-level institutions in both the public and private sectors.
He began his career at the Superior Court of Justice of the Valencian Community, as a substitute magistrate, and since then he has provided legal advice for many other official bodies, including: the Constitutional Court, in which he was a lawyer; the Economic and Social Council of Spain, as an expert designated by the Government; the Labor Court of the Canary Islands, or the Labor Arbitration Court of the Valencian Community. Likewise, through successive contracts within the framework of collaboration between universities and companies, he has provided advice to multiple prestigious private entities. An accumulation of experiences that has allowed him to establish himself as one of the most reputable labour lawyers in our country.
Graduated in Law from the University of Valencia, PhD from the University of Bologna and Professor of Labor Law, José María Goerlich is also an academic who for decades has contributed to the development and training of new talent from various leading university institutions in Valencia. In parallel, he highlights his work as a collaborator in numerous specialised magazines. He has also published several of his own books and participated in the writing of different manuals on the practice of the profession.
