José Antonio Gómez and Alicia Olaso, new counsels at GA_P
Gómez-Acebo & Pombo has appointed José Antonio Gómez Calafat and Alicia Olaso Camañas as counsels for Litigation and M&A, respectively.
José Antonio Gómez Calafat
Gómez Calafat is specialised in all types of proceedings related to insolvency, from insolvency proceedings to the approval and ratification of restructuring plans in pre-insolvency proceedings. He is also specialised in the management of civil litigation proceedings.
He holds a law degree from the University of Valencia and a master’s degree in Business Legal Advice from the University-Business Foundation of the University of Valencia.
Alicia Olaso Camañas
Olaso Camañas has extensive experience in M&A transactions, including the acquisition and divestment of a wide range of assets (shopping centers, offices, hotels, logistics and industrial assets, residential properties, and land under development). She also advises on corporate and structured financing transactions, including acquisition financing, asset financing (mainly real estate and photovoltaic projects), and debt restructuring processes.
She holds a law degree from the Cardenal Herrera-CEU San Pablo University in Valencia, a Master’s degree in Business Legal Advice (IE Business School, Madrid) and an International Executive MBA (Leuven School of Management, Belgium).
