José Antonio Caínzos resigns as President of CIAM

Juan Serrada (pictured) has taken over the presidency of the Madrid International Centre of Arbitration (CIAM), on an interim basis, replacing José Antonio Cainzos, who today announced his resignation. The founding courts of the centre regret this decision.

The founding members of CIAM – the Madrid Court of Arbitration, the Civil and Commercial Court of Arbitration, the Spanish Court of Arbitration and the Madrid Bar Association as strategic partner – reiterate their full commitment to the Centre and their satisfaction with the work carried out in its first three years of existence, as well as their full support to the Plenary of the organisation.

Juan Serrada, until now vice-president of CIAM and who will hold the presidency until a new head is appointed, has assured that the Centre, “will continue with its full activity and work, supported as it has been until now by the teams of the founding courts, which will continue to provide all the financial, technical and human support so that CIAM continues to develop its activity with the highest level of excellence.”
