Jones Day promotes Marta de Cara to of counsel

Jones Day has promoted Marta de Cara to of counsel in the international litigation and arbitration practice in Madrid.

With more than 12 years’ experience, Marta de Cara represents companies and financial institutions in complex civil and commercial litigation before the Spanish courts, as well as in domestic and international arbitrations. Her experience spans the construction and energy sectors, including disputes relating to large-scale civil engineering projects, damages claims, M&A, directors’ and officers’ liability, commercial disputes, distribution, agency and franchise matters, as well as issues concerning banking contracts and intellectual and industrial property rights.

Marta de Cara is a member of the Madrid Bar Association, the Spanish and Ibero-American Arbitration Club (CEIA) and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb).
