João Lamy da Fontoura is back to Sérvulo’s public law team
João Lamy da Fontoura has rejoined Sérvulo & Associados as a consultant in the Public Law department, after 11 years pursuing other professional activities. With over 20 years of experience, Lamy da Fontoura transitions from PLMJ, where he had been working since 2019. He has also been serving as an arbitrator for the Administrative Arbitration Center (CAAD) since 2015, focusing on administrative arbitration and public procurement. In recent years, he has also worked at SRS Legal and Linklaters.
The new Sérvulo consultant previously worked at the firm between 2008 and 2013 in the areas of public law, litigation, arbitration, and healthcare. “We are very pleased to welcome João Lamy da Fontoura back to Sérvulo’s public law team. His return reflects the recognition of his work over the past two decades and strengthens our expertise in key areas of activity, particularly public procurement, infrastructure projects, and arbitration,” said Manuel Magalhães, managing partner of Sérvulo & Associados.
Lamy da Fontoura graduated in Law from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon (2002) and completed a postgraduate degree in Administrative Litigation Law at the Portuguese Catholic University (2004). His practice has been primarily focused on public law, specifically administrative law, public contracts, public procurement, and dispute resolution, especially in arbitration contexts.
