Jesús Bernia, new Head of Corporate Finance department at GB

GB Consultores continues advancing its Strategic Plan for 2024-2026, which began last year with the appointment of Roxana Leotescu as General Director and Gonzalo Boronat taking on the role of Executive Chairman. Now, the firm completes its organizational structure with the appointment of Jesús Bernia Martí as Head of the Financial-Corporate Division of the Valencia-based consultancy. This last appointment marks a key step in firms’ transformation and reaffirms it’s commitment to internal development and talent recognition within its team.

Bernia joined GB Consultores in 2019 as a consultant in the Financial-Corporate Division after serving as a financial director in various companies. Over the years, he has stood out for his leadership, commitment, and results in his role as a financial consultant. In his new position, he will lead the consultancy toward new heights, focusing on consolidating the current client portfolio while expanding service offerings to new sectors and clients.

General Director Roxana Leotescu highlighted Bernia’s contribution and the firm’s confidence in his abilities: “This appointment reflects his exceptional contributions and our trust in his capacity to lead the financial department. We are excited about what this new chapter will bring.”

Bernia holds degrees in Business Administration and Law, as well as a Master’s in Corporate Finance and Investment Banking. He is also an expert in Insolvency Law and serves as a professor in finance, corporate strategy, and business management at various business schools and postgraduate institutions. Additionally, he is a regular contributor to financial publications.
