Ius+Aequitas obtains the B Corp certification
Ius+Aequitas Trial Lawyers has received the B Corp certification from B Lab as a firm committed to the mission of building a more inclusive and sustainable economy for everyone.
B Lab is an international non-profit organisation that promotes the value of a company beyond economic profit, promoting and certifying those entities that strive to reduce inequality and poverty, care for the environment and strengthen communities, among other objectives.
In this way, companies that receive this certification meet the highest standards of social and environmental performance, public transparency and legal accountability.
In order to obtain this certificate, Ius+Aequitas Trial Lawyers has passed the B Impact assessment. This is a free and confidential online analysis in which the firm’s interaction with employees, clients, the community and the environment is evaluated.
A minimum of 80 points must be obtained in this assessment. Currently, more than 190,000 companies are using the B Impact assessment to measure and manage their social and environmental impact.
