Insulet appoints Hristina Atanasova in Spain
Insulet has appointed Hristina Atanasova as senior manager, legal counsel in Spain, effective 20 April 2026.
In her new role, she will be responsible for providing strategic legal advice to the market access, marketing and sales teams, as well as supporting the company in complex public procurement processes.
The profile
Based in Madrid, Atanasova will lead the company’s legal advisory function in the Spanish market while supporting regional projects across EMEA. She joins from Johnson & Johnson MedTech, where she developed most of her professional career, building more than eight years of experience in the healthcare technology sector.
Atanasova began her career in private practice before moving in-house, where she specialised in advising on the commercialisation of medical devices and digital health solutions. Her experience spans highly regulated environments, with a particular focus on market access strategies, public procurement and the development of business models for connected medical technologies in Spain.
She is a law graduate from Universidad Complutense de Madrid and holds a Master’s degree in access to the legal profession from UNED.
