Insolvent Air Berlin instructs Pluta in Spain

Air Berlin is being advised by law firm Pluta on the Spanish aspects of its insolvency proceedings.

Air Berlin has 54 employees at its headquarters in Palma de Mallorca. Air Berlin currently only runs flights to and from Barcelona.

Air Berlin filed for insolvency in August this year, since then parts of the company have been sold to Deutsche Lufthansa, while Air Berlin is also in negotiations with Easyjet about the sale of other parts of its operations.

The legal team advising on the Spanish aspects of the insolvency will be led by Áticus Ocaña, head of Pluta España.
