Inmaculada Solar, a seasoned legal professional with a background at GVA Abogados, has joined the ranks of Martínez-Echevarría, bringing a wealth of experience from various autonomous bodies and boards of public companies.
Martínez-Echevarría is bolstering its corporate department with the addition of Inmaculada Solar, a specialist in Corporate Law (including corporate governance, compliance, and commercial contracting). She possesses robust knowledge in Public Law applied to business, encompassing public procurement, urban planning, and regulatory procedures. In addition to her legal practice, Solar serves as an associate professor at the University of Malaga, teaching in the field of Corporate Law, and is pursuing her doctoral studies in the same discipline.
Having joined GVA & ATENCIA in 2012, Inmaculada Solar holds a Law degree from the University of Jaén (1998). Her professional activities are complemented by her role as an Associate Professor since 2012, a position she previously held at the University of Jaén from 2007 to 2011, focusing on Corporate Law.
Her primary areas of expertise at the firm revolve around corporate law (contractual matters and corporate law) and administrative litigation (administrative procedures, subsidies, and public sector contracting).
In Public Law, she has accumulated significant experience, having served for over a decade on various autonomous bodies and boards of public companies, as well as financial entities. Additionally, she has held management responsibilities in Local Administration.
As an author of several publications, Solar achieved research proficiency in 2014 with her work on ‘Contingent Credits: An Approach to their Treatment in Bankruptcy Law.’ Currently pursuing her doctoral studies in Corporate Law, she has been involved in organizing various scientific events and actively participates in conferences and training sessions.
