Inmaculada Castelló joins Deloitte Legal as Corporate partner
Inmaculada Castelló has left Dentons to join Deloitte Legal as a Corporate/M&A Partner. Her move comes one year after Deloitte announced a global reorganization of its legal business and follows a series of recent partner departures in Spain.
Castelló, who joined Dentons in May 2024 from Pinsent Masons, brings 20 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, investments, and corporate restructurings, both domestic and cross-border. She has particular expertise in the healthcare, technology, and industrial sectors, as well as in real estate transactions with a focus on alternative investments such as student housing and senior living facilities.
Prior to joining Dentons, Inmaculada Castelló spent eight years at Pinsent Masons, where she served as Co-Head of the Madrid office from 2022 to 2024 and was EMEA representative on the firm’s Global Inclusion Steering Committee. She was part of the Ramón y Cajal team that launched Pinsent Masons in Spain in 2017, a move that led to a nine-month litigation settled in 2018. Earlier in her career, she practiced at Cuatrecasas (2006–2011) and Ramón y Cajal Abogados (2011–2014), where she was promoted to partner before moving to Pinsent.
Castelló holds a law degree from the University of Alicante (2002) and is a founder and current secretary of the Spanish Digital Health Association (ASD).
Her arrival at Deloitte Legal strengthens the Big Four firm’s Spanish legal arm as it continues to adjust its strategy following the global reorganization announced in March 2024 by Deloitte’s global CEO, Joe Ucuzoglu, aimed at streamlining operations and reducing costs across more than 150 jurisdictions.
According to Begoña Fernández, partner in charge of the firm’s Legal Department: “It is a privilege to have a professional with such technical knowledge in the field of Corporate/M&A as Inmaculada, who is highly regarded in the healthcare sector.”
