Inhousecommunity Day 2025 kicks off
The Inhousecommunity Day 2025 is being held today at the Hotel Wellington in Madrid. Organized by Iberian Lawyer, part of LC Publishing Group, the event brings together leading professionals from the corporate legal sector to discuss current challenges and developments in the in-house legal function.
The day began with check-in and a welcome coffee, followed by the welcome message from Aldo Scaringella, CEO of LC Publishing Group.
ROUNDTABLE I
The first round table, scheduled for 9:35 a.m., entitled ‘The Modern Manager: In-House Legal Navigating Between Tensions,’ includes the participation of Adolfo Díaz Ambrona Moreno, General Counsel and Secretary of the Board at Santander Spain; Jaime López de Villarreal, Global Head of Legal at Loewe; Álvaro Martínez Crespo, Head of Legal Advisory at Telefónica; Patricio Morenés Hoyos, General Counsel and Secretary of the Board at Grupo Dia; and Ignacio Pereña Pinedo, General Counsel at Grupo ACS. The panel will be moderated by Ilaria Iaquinta, Editor-in-Chief of Iberian Lawyer.
ROUNTABLE II
There will be a short coffee break before continuing with the second round table, scheduled for 11:30 a.m. under the title”M&A, JV, and Corporate Restructuring: The Legal Team in the Driver’s Seat.” Also, this session will be moderated by Julia Gil de la Torre, journalist at Iberian Lawyer, and will feature Enrique Blanco Antón, Head of Legal M&A and Corporate at Urbaser; Regina Madrazo, Head of Legal M&A and Finance at Moeve; Patricia Montoro, Head of Legal M&A and Corporate at Indra; Noelia Palacios, General Counsel at Hipoges; Miguel Romera Marroquín, Head of Corporate, Compliance & Risks at Vodafone Spain; and Andrea Viale, Global Head of Legal and Secretary of the Board at idealista.
ROUNDTABLE III
The third round table begins at 12:45 p.m. with the title “Choosing the Right Law Firm: Brand, Price, or People.” It is moderated by Glória Paiva, journalist at Iberian Lawyer, and brings together Maria Echeverria-Torres, Head of Legal at Nokia; Mariana García Fernández de Mesa, General Counsel Iberia at Accor; Carlos Menor, Legal Director and Compliance Officer at Renault Group Spain; Javier Ramírez Iglesias, Vice President and Associate General Counsel, Regions Litigation at HP, and Head of Advocacy at ACC Europe – Association of Corporate Counsel; Úrsula Rodríguez Robles, Head of Legal Spain and Portugal at KIABI; and Natália Galvão Veiga Rebelo, Country Legal Manager at IKEA Portugal.
The programme concludes at 2 p.m. with a light lunch, offering attendees the opportunity to continue exchanging ideas and experiences in a more informal setting.
