Indra Group appoints Luis Graça Rodrigues Global Director of International Legal Affairs

Luis Graça Rodrigues (pictured) has been appointed Global Director of International Legal Affairs at Indra Group, as Iberian Lawyer can anticipate. Based in Madrid, he will now lead a global legal team of approximately 45 professionals and will be responsible for managing all local legal teams across Europe, Asia, North America and Latin America, supporting the group’s international growth.

The profile

The appointment marks the latest step in a career spanning more than 15 years within the group. Since March 2023, Graça Rodrigues has served as Regional Legal Director at Minsait, covering Europe (excluding Spain), Lusophone Africa and the Philippines. Alongside this role, since February 2022 he has also been Head of Legal Department for Italy, Central Europe and Lusophone Africa. Before that, he led the legal function for Portugal and Lusophone Africa for almost 11 years, between 2011 and 2022.

Prior to joining Indra, Graça Rodrigues was Head of Legal Department at Portugal’s Autoridade Nacional de Segurança Rodoviária (ANSR) from 2008 to 2011, where he was responsible for public procurement, litigation and legal advisory matters. He began his career in private practice, completing his traineeship and subsequently working as a lawyer at Abel de Andrade Advogados, before moving to another Lisbon-based law firm focused on civil, labour and criminal litigation.

Alongside his legal career, Graça Rodrigues has strengthened his management expertise through executive education, including the Transition to General Management (TGM) programme at INSEAD.
